Josh is a welder, pipefitter and boilermaker turned technical instructor. He worked in the skilled trades from shop fabrication to emergency repair at shipyards, refineries and power plants, then taught and coordinated welding programs at a technical college and a career-technical center. At Eleven Tenths he serves as a client liaison and manages equipment, facilities and site logistics for Information Infrastructure Pre-Apprenticeship cohorts at host colleges in several states.
When the Information Infrastructure Pre-Apprenticeship opened its first cohort at Tolles Career & Technical Center in Plain City, Ohio, in September 2024, Josh was the lead instructor. By October 2026, twelve cohorts had finished at ten host institutions in eight states.
He now works on the other side of the program, getting equipment, facilities and sites ready for each new cohort and serving as a day-to-day contact for host colleges.
